Bakels Edible Oils, a member of the International Bakels Group, is a leading processor, manufacturer and supplier of Edible Oil based products to both the New Zealand and Export Markets.  We deliver some of the world’s best products to the Dairy, Foodservice, Industrial Food Processing, QSR and Retail Markets.  We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Coordinator to join our team.

This role will be responsible for providing a professional Customer Service function through the input of orders and liaison with internal and external customers to ensure efficient delivery of product orders, as well as providing Administration Support and completing general Reception duties when required. This role requires you to have a calm and efficient nature and an excellent eye for detail.  The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in Customer Service and Data Entry and be able to think outside the box to achieve what is required.

Working Hours are Monday to Friday 8.30 - 5.00pm

Key Tasks being completed by this role will be:

  • Accurate processing of incoming customer orders
  • Liaison with Production Team regarding customer specific order requirements
  • Follow up and manage open orders / back orders reports
  • Liaison with distributors, customers and transport companies to ensure product is received and despatched to agreed Company standards
  • Updating customer forecasts for Sales / Production as received
  • Sales related filing

Experience working with the Microsoft suite of products is a requirement and previous experience working with JDE would be an advantage.

The role will require you to be customer focused, have accurate data entry skills, be well organised, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, show initiative and be proactive, professional and a Team player.

Candidates MUST be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug tests.
