We have recently opened our new Bathroom Concept Centre at 525 Great South Road in Penrose. Its amongst the largest Bathroom Showroom in all the Auckland City area.
Our company and its product range has grown exponentially over the last 15 years. We are seeking expressions of interest from interested persons to join our Showroom Sales Centre, to help facilitate our planned growth in the Auckland market place.
The showroom receives an interesting array of Influencers, Specifiers, Customers, Group Builders and Prospects. These Customer sector groups come into our Showroom, and need assistance with design, choice, market trends and pricing considerations.
The opportunity is there to maximize the showroom as an opportunity and use best methods to sell the bathroom dream. You will be able to utilize and refine your skills to sell as much of the bathroom dream as possible using our ‘real live bathrooms’ as your ultimate sales tool.

Newtech has a proven and effective go to market model, which means giving Customers choice, with the actual sales transactions going through our supporting merchants. (This is a great way to bring together our merchants and to build trust and support from them)
Some of the job responsibilities include:
- Welcoming clients to Showroom and showing them around.
- Answering queries, consultative selling with clients, producing quotes, upselling and taking phone calls.
- Understanding and being aware of Market channels, and helping to arrange proposals for clients, sometimes with three way considerations and conversations utilizing supporting Retail Merchants.
- Being aware of and contributing to our company goals and sales figures.
Working for Newtech you will be well supported by our National Sales Manager Sales Executives, our Management team, as well as Design Teams, Marketing Teams and Customer Service Teams. We also offer unique selling tools, market catalogue's and reference guides, and technological capability to support you in your role.
We need people who are focussed, self-motivated, with a passion and talent for growing sales. Making customers happy is a priority, and someone who goes out of their way to assist a customer or prospective customer is a person we need. Some experience in the building and home products portfolio would certainly be an advantage.
Strong and clear communication skills, tenacity, and an ability to be a team player working with our teams and company structure are also necessary.
A salary package can be negotiated dependent on experience, and what you can bring to our company.
We're looking for winners and A Grade Players. If you're not a team player, or are easily distracted with low attention levels, then this position is not for you.
