Senior Sales Executive - Hamilton Based

My client is a blue chip organisation that is one of the market leaders in the global consumer electronics market. In New Zealand, they are trading punches with the competition to be the number one brand across a range of products.

This position is a key role for the organisation supporting the business and their clients with on the ground with field based sales expertise and support. The categories are award winning audio visual and white ware and the territory is Waikato/Bay of Plenty.  We would prefer the person to be based in Hamilton.

The role is to support the broader organisational activities with key retailers driving sales, product training, in-store merchandising, whilst driving deep relationships with all store based representatives from Sales Assistants to the Retail Manager.

As the products can be very technical, there will be a significant training element to the role, ensuring store based sales personnel are fully aware of the features and benefits of the product rage. With an ever changing and developing range, you will also be required to ensure you are championing the product range with high level in store merchandising activities.

To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have a passion for technology, with an understanding of the retail framework. You will understand the challenges retailers face, and will be able to build relationships that matter whilst maintaining a regular call cycle. Ideally you will have experience in a similar role, and may be looking to work with one of the market leaders, alternatively you may have the skills necessary and looking for a change in environment.

This position requires someone with experience working with technology and a passion for delivering exceptional service to internal and external customers.
