Turk’s Poultry Farm is a well-established and rapidly growing FMCG business selling a portfolio of poultry product (primarily in the North Island). Based in the Horowhenua, Turk’s has been in business for some 50 years; we are a family owned and wholly NZ company with an ambitious 5-year growth plan. It’s fair to say that this is an exciting time to join our business.

Reporting to our National Sales Manager, this is a critical Account Management and Business Development role which will see you managing existing accounts and establishing and developing new business. You will be responsible for the delivery of the key sales strategies and financial targets through superior relationship management. This is a highly cross functional Account Management role focusing on new and existing FMCG channel partners. It involves negotiation of trading terms, promotion planning, account reviews, strategic planning and delivery of your overall budget responsibility. It will provide a challenging and enjoyable role for the right individual.

  • Strong organisation, time management and multi-tasking skills, as you will be working in a fast paced and pressured environment;
  • A track record of building sustainable customer relationships combined with proven experience in Key Account Management within FMCG;
  • A dynamic approach with high quality self-management and planning abilities.
  • A "can do" attitude and be able to analyse and solve issues;
  • Well-developed computer skills (Microsoft Office suite);
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; and,
  • Most importantly you will need to have a great attitude and fit to the team.
