Freshmax NZ Limited is a leading Australasian fresh produce marketer and service provider, with a national presence in NZ, a rapidly expanding market in Australia and growth opportunities in the Pacific Rim. Domestically, the business provides national produce solutions for retail chains and independent retailers.
An opportunity has arisen in our Auckland branch in Mt Wellington, for someone to join this forward thinking company and our experienced and successful trading team within this structured, sales environment where goal driven and determined people get recognised!
To be successful in this role, you need to love early mornings, have a minimum of 3-4 years trading of fresh produce or key account management in other Horticultural or FMCG companies. A history of successful produce trading and industry knowledge is required with the ability to build strong relationships and a high quality service focus for both customers and suppliers. The candidate will need a vibrant personality, have great initiative and communication skills and be able to build a strong cohesive rapport with the trading team to motivate and deliver growth and profitability within competitive markets. You will need to be commercially savvy and a problem solver with the ability to interact and influence at all levels while maintaining lucrative internal and external contacts with existing relationships. Your attention to detail will be second to none! The role will encompass the entire sales process from procurement through to key account management.
