THE COMPANY
Cervus Equipment, your local John Deere dealer who currently operate in eight locations across the North Island with a ninth branch soon to open. They provide an extensive John Deere product range that includes residential and commercial ride-on mowers, large and compact tractors, agricultural equipment, golf and turf products and more. They also offer a full range of services, including after-sales support, parts, servicing and finance. THE ROLE
With continual growth and expansion upon the horizon, and a new branch opening soon in Te Puke, Cervus Equipment are currently seeking a Sales Representative to be based in their Te Puke branch. Servicing the northern Bay of Plenty, and working with John Deere agricultural and horticultural machinery, this territory is an exciting and growing part of the region and provides excellent earning potential for the right individual. You will create long lasting relationships with customers whilst working together with the aftersales team to ensure an exceptional service is provided. Using your technical knowledge of the agricultural and machinery industry you will understand customer needs, market dynamics and how you can truly add value. You will also implement sales plans and manage your overall sales performance.

THE PERSON
In order to succeed in this busy and varied role you will have be a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills who can take the time to listen and truly understand customer needs. You will have a strong background in a similar sales roles with the agribusiness or related sectors, with a history of building successful relationships and alliances. You will be driven by sales and achieving targets and get genuine delight out of building relationships with farmers.
