VitaPOWER Ltd is a well-established, innovative company that produces a range of high quality, scientifically proven animal nutritional supplements.  Our supplements are manufactured in Whanganui New Zealand using a unique patented process that has led to a significant growth in our market both here and internationally.

As a rural technical sales representative you will be responsible for the PalaMOUNTAINS Agricultural product range which includes supplements for; Dairy, Sheep, Beef, Deer and Bees. You will perform technical presentations of our products direct to the farmer, explaining the scientific aspects of how the products work and how they can solve specific on farm problems to boost productivity.

You will be passionate about animal health and have a genuine belief and understanding in the importance of animal nutrition. As a self-starter you will be confident and at ease in the rural environment and enjoy visiting and talking to farmers about how they can best achieve their productivity goals.

Required attributes:

·Proven rural sales experience within New Zealand.

·A strong affinity with the agricultural sector and your local area, established   contacts in the Dairy/Sheep and Beef industry and the ability to build on and develop relationships is a must.

·A knowledge of animal nutrition, a relevant qualification in this field would be advantageous however not essential as product training will be provided.

·Self-motivated with excellent time management skills and hold a clean drivers licence.

·A confident communicator with good written and reporting abilities.

The Position involves:

·Working within your allocated territory to facilitate sales to existing clients as well as generating new business to meet agreed sales targets.

· Attending Field days and other events to showcase our products to the end user.

·Keeping good records and producing a monthly sales reports.

·Some overnight travel will be required.

We are looking for someone who is honest, versatile and hardworking to fit into and contribute positively to our existing team.  You will be rewarded with a base salary and unlimited earning potential with commission paid on all sales. A vehicle and phone will be provided and all travel expenses covered.

Comprehensive product training, marketing material and administrative support is also accessible.
