Designer Baby Brands is an Auckland based family-owned business that focuses on the importing and distribution of quality baby furniture to stores throughout New Zealand. We are currently looking for a Sales Representative to join our close-knit team. This position is for a permanent full-time staff member to work Monday to Friday. Some occasional weekend work will be required for special events.
This role is based in Auckland, however, will require regional travel to customers throughout New Zealand. You will be responsible for managing and servicing new and existing customers while reporting directly to the Operations Manager. Utilising and implementing all Marketing and Business education resources to facilitate customers growth and profitability.
Successful candidates will need to have strong negotiation and analytical skills, exceptional communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to bring on new business. Experience in Excel and Xero is preferred as you will be required to generate sell-through reports for existing customers to help forecast and track key account metrics. Candidates must be fluent in writing and speaking English.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Training and support for customers.
- Managing and servicing new and existing customers.
- Sell through reports to forecast and track account metrics.
- Building lasting business relationships with new and existing customers.
- Retail selling may be required on special occasions E.g. Baby Show.
- Help forecast and track key account metrics.

- Experience in Sales
- Competent typing skills and general computer skills
- High level of accuracy required
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Experience in Excel and Xero
- Fluent in writing and speaking English
- The ability to think outside the box and makes smart business decisions to benefit customers and the company
