We are currently partnering with a dynamic family owned and operated business based in Tawa, to recruit a fantastic Customer Service Representative. The business specialises in providing high quality early childhood furniture and equipment for childcare centres and schools.
The Company

Our client is based in Tawa, 15kms from Wellington CBD.
The Role
This is a great role for someone who loves customer service but wants more autonomy and flexibility that a contact centre can offer. Here you will be part of a small, high performing team, and your key focus will be on dealing with customer enquiries in a prompt and friendly manner. Additional to this we are looking for someone who can manage the company's social media channels, driving positive customer interaction from the Facebook page and LinkedIn. You will also take responsibility for project managing the tasks associated with a new daycare/kindergarten centre fit out. This isn't your average customer service role, you can really mould this role into your own and bring your skills and interests to shape the position!
This includes the following responsibilities:
- Providing excellent support and assistance to customer; phone, email, Facebook, website
- Maintaining an active social media presence across Facebook and LinkedIn
- Creating quotes for customers and placing orders
- Managing contracts and delivering these within specified timeframes
- Managing the returns process, including arranging product collections
- Creating & distributing proposals and catalogues
- Face to Face appointment booking
- Project managing new centre start up tasks
What we are looking for:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, someone who thrives on providing customers with a first-rate experience
- Proficient Microsoft Suite computer skills
- Experience with social media, and the ability to create interesting, friendly content
- Strong organisational skills
- The ability to handle conflicting priorities and remain calm and composed
- A self-starter who can drive continuous improvement in processes
