The Role

Create market demand for products and solutions through the relentless execution of targeted activities, predominately to Consultants, engineering and architect offices, local and national authorities, and other design institutes. Capture project tender information and share with group to gain highest exposure to Group solutions. Liaise with other divisions to ensure a unified approach is achieved. You will be providing an unparalleled level of technical support to the local Electrifications Product Sales team and all their end users to achieve success. Responsible for planning and executing marketing and sales support to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and continuously monitor performance.

Responsibilities

  • Results orientation-drive to exceed goals & improve business practices for higher performance levels
  • Manages his/her time with a focus on operational execution; short/medium-term operational/tactical responsibilities which involves utilizing individual subject matter expertise
  • Experience dealing with Consultants and end users, and success in changing specifications from competitor to internal products/solutions
  • Customer & market orientation - anticipate and addresses evolving customer and market needs & build close and sustainable customer relationships
  • Managing and developing well known and respected Key Commercial Accounts
  • Comply with weekly and monthly reports as directed by the NZ Sales & Marketing Manager

Skills & Experience

  • >5yrs experience in the Electrical market preferred, particular focus with Consultants and Utilities locally and nationally
  • Experience working on multiple & long-term infrastructure projects
  • Ability to think outside the norm and be proactive within the market
  • Keep up to date with market trends internationally as well as locally
  • Strong attention to detail
