Our Firm
Risk Worldwide New Zealand Limited specialises in resolving both residential and commercial insurance claims resulting from the Canterbury and Kaikoura earthquakes through settlement or litigation. Every day we engage with people who have had their houses inadequately repaired or are still waiting for resolution of their insurance claim. Our team of lawyers, loss adjusters, damage assessors and business development team strive for fair and equitable settlements for our clients who may otherwise, not have the resources or know how to recover their true insurance entitlement by appropriate repair or payment.
The Role
This role is a true business development opportunity which is about marketing our services to ensure as many potential impacted clients are aware of our services. The role will fit within a small team of Business Development Officers whilst working with the wider team. The key requirements of the role are:
- Engage with clients to understand whether their earthquake repairs are adequate
- Work alongside our damage assessment team who will provide technical assistance
- Gather documentation relevant to any claim
- Explain to clients the steps to successfully concluding a claim
Required Skills
- Previous sales experience and residential building knowledge (an advantage)
- Enjoy working in a challenging field where many people have been badly affected by the earthquakes and are in need of professional assistance
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- A strong desire to help those who have been impacted
- Passionate individual who wants to help take this business to the next level
- Ability to work autonomously with superior time management skills
- Initiative and drive
