Our company is in the business of manufacturing high quality carbon and stainless-steel tubing, to international specifications and targeting individual customer requirements. A strong customer service ethic prevails. The role of Customer Services Officer is essential to our business, with the successful candidate being the critical link between our customers, sales team and production team. We are looking for a motivated individual to service our existing customer base and provide pricing and administrative support to our nationwide team of salespeople.
Responsibilities:
- Support Customer base including order-taking and dealing with queries.
- Support the sales team and assist in the pricing of customer orders.
- Liaise with the production planning team to ensure orders are appropriately scheduled.
- Assist the Financial controller as required. Essential Skills:
- Previous experience in a production environment.
- Strong Customer Service mindset and willingness to go the extra mile.
- Excellent administration skills.
- Microsoft Office Proficiency. ABM experience would also be advantageous.
- Accuracy and an eye for detail.
- Able to balance multiple tasks simultaneously, staying calm under pressure.
- Drivers licence, NZ residency.
- An ability to read and understand drawings would be advantageous from a pricing standpoint but is not essential.
