AccorHotels are currently seeking a Senior Sales Manager for Sofitel Wellington, a Luxury Five Star Hotel located in the heart of New Zealand's capital.

This role is primarily focused on managing nominated Accounts to achieve revenue objectives for Sofitel Wellington. The role includes the management of a team, designated accounts, partnership development and a high level of collaboration with the General Managers. You will also work in partnership with the  the Luxury Sales team and AccorHotels Regional Sales Teams to secure opportunities through the company.

As Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading the hotel events and sales teams to identify and convert sales leads into new business opportunities for the hotel. Leading your team, you will have a proactive sales call plan to service existing client base and to develop new business opportunities. While also attending tradeshows and face to face meetings as well as sourcing lead for quoting on major business for the Hotel.

You will have dedicated nominated accounts which you will develop and manage as you strive to deliver above market performance. The Senior Sales Manager is also responsible for assisting the General Manager with the preparation and implementation of an annual Sales and Marketing plan for the hotel.

Ideally you will have a minimum of 4 years Sales Experience in Luxury Hotels, and a strong hospitality background. You will have excellent communication skills and a solid knowledge of sales tools. Having a good understanding of distribution systems and strong business Acumen and Analysis skills will help you succeed in this role. This role also requires demonstrated results-driven leadership from someone who is organised and pro-active with their team.
