Account Manager

We are importers and distributors of fine food located in Onehunga & distributing mainly to ethnic Indian and some Asian stores, mainstream supermarkets and the food service sector.  We are looking for a goal-oriented person who can work efficiently in both a team environment and alone.  

The successful candidate must have:

• A minimum of two years' relevant industry experience,
• Relevant business qualification,
• Hold a New Zealand Driver's Licence,
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as required,
• Strong interpersonal, supervisory, customer-service and communication skills, and
• The ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Must be fit and able to lift heavy weights up to 30 Kg's at a time.

Duties

• Must ensure operational efficiency, including sole responsibility for prospecting new customers, business development within existing accounts, delivery, invoicing and receiving payments,
• Continually develop and improve operational strategies implemented by sales and warehouse staff members to enhance the workflow of the department,
• Provide after-sales service,
• Ensure positive customer experience, including punctual delivery,
• Reporting performance of existing accounts and business development initiatives to other business divisions,
• Liaising with suppliers, other business divisions and external stakeholders as required,
• Provide training to new and existing staff, as required.
