Based in our office in Hamilton we are now looking for an Accounts Receivable person to join our team. Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, this is an entry level role that will see you working 9am – 4pm Monday-Friday. For the right candidate there may be a degree of flexibility.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Opening daily batches
- Clearing safe and checking driver's run sheets and payments received
- Processing credit notes
- Opening new customer accounts and registering customer online
- Filing customer account applications
- Folding and enveloping customer statements
- Assisting with keying of weekly direct debts
What does it take to be successful in this role?
- 1+ years’ experience in an Accounts Receivable role
- Strong attention to detail
- A high degree of accuracy
- The ability to learn new accounting software
- Computer savvy (particularly Microsoft Excel)
