Your Impact:
Reporting into the HR Direct Manager as part of our Global People Solutions team, this role works within a talented, fun and supportive team of HR professionals, tasked with coaching managers and employees in resolving operational HR & ER related issues; and educating managers, helping them to become self-sufficient with People matters.
Providing effective and accurate HR advice, the HR Advisor delivers operational support on a wide variety of HR queries, managing relationships with stakeholder throughout our New Zealand based business units. Key responsibilities also include:
- Managing the resolution of high volume performance and conduct cases, with support from ER professionals as appropriate;
- Building a positive and informative coaching relationship with developing HR Advisors;
- Being a trusted advisor for Business Units across the country and all of Fonterras brands, providing insight and advice;
- Improving systems, processes and collateral to deliver consistently and simplify the customer experience.
About You:
With a sound ER/HR background, your process and customer focus will enable you to provide meaningful advice whilst building your Fonterra understanding. To be considered for this role you will have:
- At least two years’ experience in an ER or HR Advisory role preferably in a centralised HR operating model;
- The ability to influence through your technical know-how and communicate at different levels;
- A collaborative approach to your work whilst taking accountability for the outcomes you influence;
- An HR tertiary qualification;
- Exposure to a Unionised environment and large organisation would be advantageous.
