About the role
Due to our continued growth we are looking for a new L&D person to join our fantastic training team. It's a great role which encompasses both design and delivery of key training programs - behavioural, technical and compliance - to meet organisational and HR goals. You'll be responsible across three key areas:
- E-learning content design
- Training delivery
- Technical training design (e-learning & classroom based)
You'll work with subject matter experts to identify and target training needs and use varied design techniques to create engaging, modern training and track learner performance. This role will see you working across all divisions and play a pivotal role in ensuring all training needs are met within Douglas.
What you'll bring
- 3+ years in a training/adult education role.
- Expertise with e-learning authoring tools, program editing and video technology (e.g. Articulate, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia).
- An understanding of learning theories, assessment and technologies.
- A passion and enthusiasm for classroom training.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with a wide range of stakeholders.
