This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced learning and development professional to work on innovative and challenging initiative to transform New Zealand's external examination system. NZQA's goal is to have NCEA examinations available online by 2020.
We are looking for someone with significant instructional design experience to help us on this exciting journey. There will be lots of new systems and processes, and lots of people who need to understand them. To aid this, you will develop a learning strategy and the scoping, design, development, delivery, monitoring and review of learning initiatives and approaches to support the transition.
Given that we are moving to a digital platform, having a thorough understanding of digital learning tools and technologies, with a strong background in adult learning are a must to be successful in this role. Conducting learning needs analysis and using methods such as ADDIE will be second nature to you. You also won't mind getting hands-on with delivery when required.
If you have experience in developing programmes or strategies for large-scale transformation programmes, this would be an added bonus.
This position is fixed term to 28 June 2019.
