We are seeking a passionate, skilled, approachable, HR professional to join our team. Macpac employs over 600 team members across New Zealand and Australia. Our Team members are:

About the job.

This position is a generalist HR role and primarily involves the provision of expert HR advice and assistance to managers, HR strategy development and implementation, employee engagement and communications, support for employee dispute resolution, managing talent and succession, implementation of training initiatives, all aspects of recruitment, employee on-boarding and a range of other HR support tasks.

Reporting through to the Chief Operating Officer you will be accountable for ensuring the exceptional provision of all aspects of HR support to the business as Macpac continues to grow both in New Zealand and Australia.

The person.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• be passionate and skilled in a range of human resources activities
• have qualifications and proven experience in a multi-site environment
• show great initiative with demonstrated planning and organisational ability
• be a team player with exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills
• be quality-driven and focussed on meeting organisational objectives
• be confident in dealing with conflict resolution
• have the ability to thrive in a multi-tasking, high pressure environment
• have a sound knowledge of NZ employment legislation and knowledge of Australian employment legislation
• be prepared to travel in NZ and Australia and have excellent written and spoken English
