The Opportunity
Our Nelson region is looking for a Regional Administration Manager to help support their Regional Manager and branches across the Nelson region.
You could come from a variety of backgrounds but will need to be able to demonstrate that you are proactive and a forward thinker, with strong organisational skills. You will be an advocate of continuous improvement, enjoying identifying ways of making processes easier and more efficient for the team and having a positive impact. Previous leadership and people management experience is essential as you will be responsible for 7 direct reports in the Nelson branch.
You will be working across the Nelson region where you will be exposed to a variety of tasks making no two days the same including:
- Providing direct support to the Regional Manager including travel arrangements, client functions and ad hoc tasks
- Day to day control of the branches administration operation and liaison with staff working closely with the Regional Manager
- To assist the Regional Manager and Branch Managers in the undertaking of budget preparation
- Work closely with the Regional Manager to identify & implement ways to achieve goals and vision for the region
- Coordinate and delivering staff requirements around training and branch development
This role also has an element of broking support for the Regional Manager who oversees a book of high-end clients. Previous experience in broker support is not required as you will be provided training around this.
About You

To be successful in this role you will display:
- Competency working at a senior administration level
- Leadership and people management experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to build credibility with stakeholders / clients
- A good understanding of financial accounting including the preparation of budgets
- Competent in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advance), Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
