In this role you’ll be very popular as you make sure we get paid!

Due to an internal promotion, we now have a vacancy available for a Payroll Specialist based in Wellington.

Considered a payroll expert, you will have experience working in a large scale payroll environment. In addition you’ll have an understanding of General Ledger systems including payroll journals. Experience with NetSuite, ADP or a similar cloud based payroll system is an advantage.

What do you need to be a great Payroll Specialist at Xero:

Prior experience with NZ payroll
Knowledge of workplace, payroll and tax legislation
Experience with a cloud based payroll system (we currently use Netsuite Infinet Cloud, ADP and WorkDay)
Ability to multi-task and ability to be organised
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Strong time management
Excellent oral and written communication skills
