Reporting to the Store Manager, this is an interesting and diverse role that will have you involved in a variety of operational human resources activities such as:

 

  • Assisting with the recruitment and selection process, including interviewing, processing of employment agreements, arranging induction and onboarding activities;

  • Maintaining the learning centre people information and co-ordinating instore training requirements;

  • Providing administration support and advise on Health and Safety matters;

  • Responding to questions from managers and employees on human resources policies and practices;

  • Providing guidance on employment relations matters.

     

    As you can see this is a diverse role, you will be involved with everyone across the store, and will really need to utilise your organisational, administrative and people skills.

     

    For this position we are looking for someone who has:

  • a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role with strong administrative skills;

  • some HR and H&S practices and processes experience;

  • strong MS Office computer skills

  • ability to manage issues, maintaining open communications and a positive approach to resolution;

  • a desire to deliver excellence in all that you do;

  • exceptional confidentiality and discretion;

  • excellent attention to detail and follow-through;

  • good time management and organisational skills; and

  • a friendly and caring manner.

     

    This is a part time role of 25 hours per week, across Monday to Friday.
