About the Role
Due to significant company growth we are seeking an experienced Generalist Recruiter for this hands-on recruitment role, working closely with Business Managers to attract new talent to their many and varied Business Units across the country. Managing the recruitment process from end to end, it is vital that you have proven recruitment experience across a wide variety of industry sectors, from Drivers, Mechanics and Panel beaters, to Operations, Administration and Accounts.
About the Person
A highly motivated self starter, you will possess robust people skills, a sound sense of humour and the type of creativity that will enable you to identify and implement new and non-traditional methods of candidate attraction. As a key influencer of talent attraction to the business, you will work closely with Business Managers across the country in order to understand the challenges and frustrations that come with sourcing candidates for 'hard to fill' roles.
Responsibilities include:
- Working closely with company managers to establish, maintain and manage successful and timely recruitment processes for Tranzit Operating Companies
- End to end recruitment including the creation of job profiles, job descriptions, recruitment advertising, screening, short listing, interviewing, reference checking and salary negotiation
- Drafting of Human Resources documentation including: job descriptions, performance appraisal systems, reviews and policy & procedures documentation
- Proactively engage with company managers through forward planning for recruitment needs in accordance with seasonal fluctuations and retirement
- The organisation and management of recruitment drives at Employment and Careers Expos
