The primary function of your role will be to provide HR services and support to our client on a day to day basis, and to ensure that the organisation achieves its business and people objectives. 

Our client is an international chemical company based in Tauranga. They are well established and have been operating for over 60 years. 

We are on the hunt for a HR SUPERSTAR to join a fun and family orientated team. 

 

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE

  • Offering HR advice, support and administration to the company
  • Provide high level, timely and professional advice to senior managers and staff, in interpreting and implementing human resource policy 
  • Recruits, interviews and selects new employees and ensures contracts are provided and completed and all documentation is received
  • Ensure performance reviews are conducted on an annual basis in a timely manner
  • Maintain a professional network and commitment to ensure contemporary knowledge of HR requirements
  • Undertake own administration functions including word processing, photocopying and filing

YOU WILL NEED

  • An ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure
  • HR tertiary qualifications would be beneficial or a wealth of proven experience in HR
  • A commitment to the well-being of colleagues and proven capacity for being open and responsive to the views/opinions of others
  • To be able to manage a complex workload and meet deadlines whilst maintaining a client focused approach
  • Sound knowledge of employment and payroll related legislation and its application
  • Be a self starter 
  • Strong planning and organisational abilities 
  • Excellent numerical/analytical skills
  • To maintain a high level of confidentiality 

This role is Monday to Friday with the flexibility to negotiate your start time based off a 40 hour week
