- Develop and facilitate learning and provide subject matter expertise
- Implement instructional design principles to current and new learning programs
- Contract position | Insurance industry | CBD location
You will be dynamic, structured, can identify risk and demonstrates strong reporting and project skills. Effective communication and planning will be a key component to your success.
The purpose of this role is to serve as a subject matter expert in learning principles and instructional design, to oversee the development and implementation of learning programs, to ensure alignment with business needs, priorities and development goals for job roles.
Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing instructional design principles to current and new learning programs
- Developing high quality training materials
- Plan, coordinate & implement programs
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage multiple projects concurrently
About you
With a demonstrated background in instructional design and a solid understanding of learning principles and knowledge transfer, you bring the ability to convert complex language and concepts into everyday language that suits targeted audiences. You are comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively to plan and execute projects on time and to budget.
Experience
- Experience in L&D and instructional design
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems
- Proven experience working with e-learning tools
- Experience in successfully designing learning programmes for diverse audiences
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with ability to develop strong relationships with different levels of stakeholders
- Clear and concise communication skills with ability to influence others
- Tertiary qualification in HR/Training or business
- Super organised, focused and methodical; able to multi task
- Able to ‘get things done’, and a team player
- A hands-on person, with high working standards
- Have a high level of personal motivation, initiative and integrity
- A clear thinker with strong conceptual and analytical skills;
- Have a strong attention to detail;
- Have excellent communication both verbal and written i.e. grammar, punctuation, formatting etc.
