About The Role

In this hands on role you will be responsible for proactively partnering with the New Zealand Management Team across the Probe Group to provide assistance and guidance using technical and professional skills/knowledge, on a broad range of Human Resource practices including high volume employment relations, industrial relations, performance management, disciplinary process and rolling out various HR programs and initiatives. You will deliver a range of people centric services and activities which support the development of a constructive, high performance culture, drive commercial growth and deliver successful business outcomes.

  • Full Time, 40 hours per week
  • Location: Ellerslie, Auckland Central.

Key Skill Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience
  • Tertiary qualification in HR or Business Management
  • Knowledge of NZ employment legislation and best practice
  • Excellent communication skill, both written and verbal
  • Strong relationship management and influencing skills
  • Previous HR expereince in a contact centre environment is desired


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing, prioritizing and responding proactively to business unit needs related to People and providing feedback to management on recommendations for improvement
  • Delivering operational support and guidance to business leaders, supervisors and employees on employee relations/counselling, industrial relations, performance management, job design, remuneration and benefits, organisational change management, recruitment, job evaluations, awards, compliance, health and safety, employee development and succession planning
  • Researching issues and developing recommendations to resolve line management issues
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of people services and continually looking for ways to improve
  • Focusing on driving high performance and accountability for people initiatives/ programs across the business
  • Providing a confidential and trusted channel for employee advice, queries, concerns and issues
  • Undertaking site and national reporting as required
  • Coordinating and implementing site activities in line with culture and engagement plans
  • Ensuring you do not discriminate against, harass or bully co-workers, prospective co-workers, Probe subcontractors, visitors, clients or customers and ensure you treat people with fairness and respect in the performance of your duties
  • Ensuring all Probe policies, including Business Management System and Security policies and procedures are adhered to
