A full time fixed term position exists for a highly motivated Project Manager to join the Museum at an exciting time of redevelopment and renewal. The assignment, which will run until December 2019, is varied as is the working environment and will require an experienced person with enthusiasm and flexibility. The role manages project planning and delivery of our Learning Base and Atrium Gallery renewal projects, and leads the development of production solutions that enable delivery of project expectations while working within deadlines, resources and the project scope.
To be successful in this role, you will offer:
- Relevant project management experience essential, with related qualifications advantageous
- Ideally project management experience working with museum collection based exhibitions
- Experience of working in projects with a structured project management methodology
- Proven record of managing teams in a project based, cross functional environment
- Proven experience in contract creation and management of contracts
- Proficiency with MS Office suite including MS Project
- Demonstrable knowledge of project management reporting, financial systems and processes is highly desirable
- Must have a current and full driver's licence
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings, holidays and/or weekends
