What's the job?
1NEWS is looking for a story producer with solid journalism experience who can deliver reliable and accurate stories.
Is it right for you?
You will work closely with reporters to field produce, copy edit and produce media for use in television and online in both daily and future stories. There will be a need to generate story ideas and also remotely support reporters outside of Auckland to get stories to air.
Your expertise as a producer coupled with your excellent organisational skills will be essential in this role. You will be expected to manage and edit content to maximise our coverage across different platforms. An ability to work calmly under pressure and as part of a strong team is crucial.
