Company:

Working within a high performing team and environment, the employer is a fast-growing conference company based in Central Auckland with an entry-level conference producer position available for the right candidate.

This entrepreneurial and forward thinking events company will expect you to produce and develop ideas, identify and engage speakers and conduct competitor research and analysis.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research to gain insight on industry trends, changes and needs

  • Identify new and interesting business trends/hot topics

  • Invite industry-leading presenters to ensure your conferences have a stellar line-up through talent acquisition/recruiting - big part of the role, 1 hour of talk time and 40 calls per day!

  • Prepare well-structured, informative and concise brochures

You will have excellent telephonic and interpersonal communications skills with negotiation skills. You will be liaising with all levels of clients whilst being proactive and focused in your approach will show high attention to detail. 

 

The Successful Candidate:

  • Minimum 1-year corporate experience (preferred).

  • A University Bachelor's Degree.

  • Commercially minded, confident, bright and positive.

  • Proven research and interpersonal skills.

  • Pride in attention to detail and content.

  • Highly organised and able to work to tight deadlines.

  • A strong background in outbound telephone sales or research would be advantageous.

  • Ability to be flexible yet structure and process driven.
