We are seeking Event Coordinators to join the temp pool at the University, for various temporary assignments (anywhere from one month to a year in length). We require Event Coordinators with proven experience planning and delivering the successful delivery of events. We are also open to speaking with more junior event professionals, who perhaps have studied in a related field and are looking to start their career off in the events space.
Events roles at the University are responsible for the delivery of student events held on campus. You will work collaboratively with a team of dedicated, innovative and proactive individuals. You'll need to be able to use your initiative, and work both independently as well as part of a team.
Ideally, a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role and a qualification in Events is preferred. You must have proven administration skills, excellent customer relationship management skills and have experience in all aspects of conference management, along with an understanding of the legal and health and safety component of events.
This is a professional staff level 4 position.
