The role
We’re looking for a strong visual storyteller with an eye for design and detail to join our team as our Image and Video Producer.
In this role, you will be responsible for our video and visual content across our digital channels - helping to capture, edit and share compelling visual stories to promote the Wellington region as a destination. This will range from the city’s events, local businesses and tourism organisations, to its natural beauty and interesting personalities.
Working with the team, you will be involved in all areas of video production and photography, and developing creative story ideas. You will also work alongside our external photographers and suppliers to deliver our bigger projects to tell Wellington’s story.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience and technical ability in filming, editing and photography
- A strong eye for visual storytelling and design
- The ability to communicate information in a creative and compelling way, tailoring content for the intended audience
- High-level organisation skills.
