Junior Theatre Technician
This role would be ideally suited to a school leaver who has a passion for the performing arts and venue operations. You will preferably have had some experience in audio visual, and sound and lighting at your school or have had theatre experience with a theatre company, and show a genuine passion for the industry. You will learn all facets of operating a multi purpose performing arts and conference venue, specialising in the installation and operation of sound, lighting and audio visual equipment, as well as learning all aspects of the day to day operation of a busy 500 seat auditorium and function rooms, ticketing systems and bar and catering operations. The role will be varied with hours that can vary week to week and involve working some weekends. Working in a small, friendly, supportive team environment, you will need to be able to work as a part of a committed group or on your own, demonstrating an ability to think for yourself and be self motivated towards achieving 100% satisfaction for our clients.
