We are searching for a beauty editor to be our skincare category specialist to create content across our much-loved magazine brands – Fashion Quarterly, MissFQ, Simply You, Next, Australian Women’s Weekly and Good Health – plus our yet-to-launch website, beautyheaven.co.nz.
Currently active in Australia and launching soon in New Zealand (see beautyheaven.com.au); Beauty Heaven is a comprehensive beauty review database that combines consumer-generated content with high-quality beauty and health journalism and the very best advice.
As the skincare expert across all Bauer Media’s beauty brands you’ll be ideating, researching, interviewing, writing and appearing in video to educate New Zealand women on all things skincare, so you’ll need proven experience, knowledge and contacts in this category. We are seeking someone curious, creative and collaborative who loves producing innovative, search-optimised content across print, digital, social and video, and can apply the same skills to creating engaging sponsor content.
You’ll need to understand your audiences, work towards the overall content strategy of the brands, and manage a busy multi-media editorial schedule. This is an amazing opportunity to combine your passion and career and work in a fun, friendly, beauty-obsessed team.
This is currently a 3-day per week role, however hours could be increased depending on the successful candidate’s skills and how they can translate to other areas of Beauty Heaven.
