My client is seeking a Talend ETL Development specialist to join their growing Data and Analytics team in an organisation going through significant business transformation.

They are currently in the process of migrating their ETL tools from DataStage to Talend Big Data product suite, running on the Cloudera Enterprise platform. As such, they are requiring a Talend ETL Development specialist to join their growing internal team.

To be successful, you will need the following skills and experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with BI/DW and ETL tools
• At least 2 years of experience in Design, Development and Build activities in Talend projects
• Past experience with DataStage ETL toolsets
• Strong knowledge of dimensional modelling, DW architecture, ETL frameworks and Design and Development using Talend
• Any experience with Hadoop and big data technology is a nice to have
• Good experience with Agile methodologies required, including Scrum and Kanban

Strong communication skills, both written and oral are paramount in this position, as is the ability to work with and develop relationships with a range of people both in analytics and the wider business. This is a role for someone who is proactive, has excellent attention to detail and who is passionate about analytics and who wants to work alongside people who share that excitement.
