The company
A high growth business with a very quickly established, strong local reputation within the Christchurch economy and market. With operations now in Auckland and Welligton also coupled with established systems and corporate service infrastructure, an experienced Finance manager or FC is needed on a 12 month contract to further enhance what is a robust and operationally integrated reporting function.
The Role
This is a key role in leading and delivering management, financial and regulatory information on a timely basis and to a high standard, alongside improving and developing the group's reporting, its processes and tools.
The role encompasses the processing and review of information, the production of reports in Excel and through use of the group’s reporting tools. You will also help to support changes on various projects.
The Person
Candidates will be qualified CA/ACCA with a solid reporting background within a large or successful ‘greenfield’ business and will:
- Have experience of both internal and external reporting and consolidations
- Be able to execute , deliver , and adapt reporting and analysis within a way that fits in with both the deliverables of the team and the business units and its GMs/ Commercial managers
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and be able to maintain good working relationships with business unit GMs and directors, and act as a key contact for a number of senior stakeholders
- Be comfortable in dealing with senior management within the corporate centre and with external accounting advisors and auditors
- Leadership within a similar scale role essential
- CA qualified and available to start within 2-4 weeks from formal offer
