In this role you will support to create and maintain Business and Systems Continuity Management processes and ensure technology and service facilities can be resumed within required and agreed business timescales. This includes computer systems, networks, applications, data repositories, digital communications, (data centre) environments, technical support and service desk.

You will be involved in Continuity Planning & Protection, Continuity Management Compliance and Continuous Improvement.

Your ability to qualify for and maintain NZ Government Security Clearance (Restricted Level) is required.  

The main responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain IT Service Continuity Management policy, objectivities and scope
• Develop and maintain IT Service Continuity Management strategy
• Develop and implement an IT Service Continuity Management response
• Ensure Client IT Service Continuity Management programme complies with client policy and standards
• Participate in and co-ordinate implementation of Client IT Service Continuity Management programme regulatory reviews
• Participate in and co-ordinate implementation of recommendations from Client IT Service Continuity Management internal and external audits and reviews
• Exercise, test and review the IT Service Continuity Management plan
• Review, maintain and improve the IT Service Continuity Management plan
• Co-ordinate post-resumption review and recommendations implementation

To be considered for this role you will need to have many of the below skills and experience:

• Proven experience in the delivery of Business Continuity or IT Disaster Recovery services
• Certified Business Continuity Planner or ITIL Planning, Protection and Optimisation (intermediate) qualification essential
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) qualification and / or Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) desirable
• Detailed understanding of ITIL IT Service Continuity Management (or Business Continuity and IT Disaster Recovery)
• Demonstrated Risk Management methodology 
• Process Design concepts/ IT Assurance concepts
• IT Governance concepts/ IT Service Management concepts
• Experience in Agile projects
• Experience with BCP/BMC agile security domain
