ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
This NZ owned company has a track record of success and is highly regarded in the NZ and international IT market. They provide business intelligence and planning insights to help enterprise scale IT sites achieve the best performance possible. The organisation has a total of 30 staff, spread across Wellington and Auckland. They also have subsidiaries based overseas.
They make extensive use of the IBM Cognos suite and the wider IBM suite in the course of their work with client sites.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This Wellington based opportunity is a genuine consulting-focused role that will have you working closely with their various valued client sites.
The work is on enterprise planning input utilising IBM software, most especially the TM1 toolset.
NOTE: this is NOT a sales or business development role. There are people already employed who are responsible for that. Your work would focus on working on projects for existing clients who are seeking to enhance their business performance by utilising Best Practice enterprise planning methods.
The specific work you would be involved with would be on an end-to-end project basis. That means you will be working with clients from the assessment to the post-implementation stage. Specific work includes:
- Developing planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting applications
- Integrating the database platform with underlying source systems
- Systems implementation
- Implementing IBM performance management products via effective project coordination
- Training business users.
