Client is a well known high end enterprise organisation currently embarking on a huge transformation IT programme throughout the business. They are seeking due to commercial demand an ICT Service Owner who will deliver, operate and support the ICT Network function. You will ensure service levels are achieved and projects are delivered to scope, time, cost and quality expectations.

This role is responsible for contributing to the ICT strategy and the supporting roadmaps that, when delivered, will enable performance and innovation, speed and agility in the wider business.

This role is key to the successful transformation of the ICT function and I am seeking someone who has technical enterprise experience of 

• Managing an enterprise ICT Network department cost centre
• Campus Networks.
• Wireless (including Bluetooth).
• Wide Area Network.
• Remote Access.
• Data Centre Network.
• Cloud Networking.
• Cabling and physical communications plant at all sites.
• Knowledge of firewalls
• Defines Network minimum viable product (MVP). Owns product backlog (grooming, prioritisation and refinement)
• Own the delivery of all Network related capital projects
• Liaise with all other Service Owners around their products
• Responsible for articulating and translating the overall vision into strategy and tactics for a particular Network product. Communicate the product strategy effectively to key stakeholders and team members.
• Responsible and accountable for assigned product level key performance indicators (KPI’s) and manages product(s) with a medium-high degree of strategy, KPI, scope, complexity, etc.   

 You will lead on an exciting agenda of technological change. The role will also include budget responsibility, managing outsourcing contracts and giving direction to the team pulling the workflow together building internal capability

To be successful you will ideally have 10 years commercial experience working in high availability 24/7, large enterprise ICT positions with a specialisation in networks and related technology. Ideally you have come from a Network Engineering background with deep technical understanding (CCIE etc) and worked your way up to management (or the next step) but are still highly technical and able to mentor a very senior technical team and problem solve major issues with.
