To work in a team responsible for managing the continuous integration process of the Ambit Asset Finance Application and the test automation suite.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and administer the continuous integration software production environment
- Administer and continuously improve the test management suite
- Implement automation and improvements to end to end software delivery environment
- Conform to development processes, work instructions and standards
- Provide support, training and assistance to others including peer reviews
- Produce development estimates and monitor actual effort against estimates
- Provide prompt escalation of functional, technical and project issues to Management
- Remain up to date with functional and technical changes of the tools used
- Remain up to date with new technologies and practices relevant to the organization
KEY SKILLS AND BEHAVIOURS
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or professional experience in software development, systems analysis, design and architecture
- Competence in some or all of the following areas:Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Build automation and scripting - specifically PowerShell and MSBuild
- Continuous integration servers - specifically TeamCity
- Testing tools and frameworks - specifically NUnit
- Experience working on commercial applications in .Net or Java
- Microsoft technologies - specifically ASP.NET and WCF
- SQL Server and Oracle databases
- Development of applications delivered via the web / browser
- Agile development
- Sound analytical, design and problem solving skills
- A high degree of numeracy and a capacity for complex concepts
- A positive, proactive and professional attitude
- A team player, who can also work independently under minimum supervision
- Able to communicate technical concepts concisely and effectively
- Maintain a focus on excellence
