We are looking for a skilled technician with excellent communication skills and strong commercial acumen to support the SKY Business / Movielink team. You will thrive on variety, as no two days are the same here! From assisting new customers with installation, upgrading existing customers, liaising with our overseas joint venture partners, you can expect to be BUSY!

Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and Implementation of Movielink and SKY Digital systems in major Hotels to ensure that there is consistent quality of pictures at the input to the distribution system. This may require travel within New Zealand with the possibility of being away for 5 to 10 days at any time.
- Manufacture of Movielink VOD Systems, SKY TV Digital headends, Guest Select Installations
- To provide service and support to Movielink and SKY Business Customers. This can require service to be carried out in the workshop or on site
- Inventory management including the control dispatch and return of product.
- To provide a high level of customer focus and have a thorough understanding of Movielink systems and SKY product.
- To provide rostered after hours call out support.
- Work within SKY’s Health and Safety policies and maintain a safe and
- healthy work environment.
Key Requirements:
- Suitable qualification in Radio, TV or telecommunications to technician level. (Bench Tech)
- Understanding/implementation of MATV networks, both analogue and Digital
- Understanding/implementation of computer systems - networks / WiFi Installations / Windows & Linux Computer qualification desirable (Networking, Cisco etc)
- Technician/service technician with strong Computer Skill orientations for at least 2 years
