We are FIX4U, we are professional IT solution team, and this is what keeps us at the top of the IT service centre. Due to our consistent growth and development, we are seeking an experienced ICT support technician to provide top-level help to our customers. This is a customer-facing role and therefore excellent communication is vital.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Respond to computer related service calls and emails.
- Windows Desktop, Server & Apple devices, and their applicable operating systems
- Administering user profiles, accounts, passwords and resets
- New Computer and Network installations
- iMac and Macbook repair, service, upgrade, data recovery and restore and support connected devices
- PC, Server, and Laptop and smartphone diagnostics, both hardware & software
- Enjoy Project work from Design to Delivery.
- Keep track of It supplies and equipment such as cables and adopters.
- Following up with the clients on daily basis.
- Strong Windows Desktop/Server experience.
- Diagnosis, repair and replacement of faulty hardware
- Virus and Malicious Software removal
- Microsoft Windows and Office application knowledge
- Network and wireless infrastructure setup and support
- Virus and spyware removal.
- Carry out repair on Phones/iPad/Tablets for screens, battery, motherboard etc.
- Assist customer understanding electronic product and ability to explain this information to customer to solve customer issues.
- Focusing on Customer sales when client’s needs.
- Up selling of product range, special and promotions.
- Work with the ERP software to ensure the customer queries and details are recorded.
Skills and experience:
Understanding of mobile technology.
Tertiary qualification in IT or computing is essential.
A full clean driver's license if required, travel and work will be required to be carried out on client premises.
