Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our global organization as a Senior DevOps Engineer, supporting application development teams with infrastructure, build tools, prototypes, and technical projects – all on AWS.

In this role you will...

• Work in a small, cross-functional group, supporting application development teams with a wide variety of technical projects
• Offer strong technical leadership to support Cornerstone’s ongoing migration to AWS, continuous deployment, and a microservices architecture
• Develop AWS infrastructure using CloudFormation, and tooling to automate infrastructure validation, deployment, and maintenance
• Create build tooling to support fully automated testing and deployment of containerized services across a large number of environments
• Own your work all the way to production, including deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, security, and compliance
• Prototype solutions to technical problems as they arise, and work with application teams to apply lessons learned
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams to complete large, cross-functional projects, and support company-wide technology migrations
• Work independently with minimal supervision, and provide leadership and mentorship to other software engineers

You’ve got what it takes if you have...

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an engineering related field
• 5+ years of engineering experience, ideally with a focus on infrastructure or build tooling
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Good understanding of security fundamentals in a cloud environment
• Strong problem solving skills, a keen sense of ownership, and a detail-oriented mindset
• Ability to effectively manage and correctly prioritize multiple streams of work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to clearly communicate technical issues and project details
• Experience delivering software in a Lean or Agile environment

• Up-to-date experience with AWS, or AWS certifications (Associate / Professional)
• Experience with CloudFormation or Terraform
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools
• Experience with C#, Python, and Bash
• Experience with continuous deployment
