ICT is a New Zealand-owned manufacturer of cutting-edge security and access-control products, based on Auckland's North Shore. Our work ethic, combined with the quality of our staff, has resulted in exceptional year-on-year growth.

We are now looking for a confident, enthusiastic Web Systems Developer to work on a variety of new and existing projects including ground up design of a suite of cloud based interfaces for end user and enterprise security and access control systems. This will involve front end and back end design and development, with a high level of responsibility. The work is varied, always challenging, and provides potential to gain a great deal of technical knowledge.

The successful candidate will be working closely with the Director of R&D, and collaborating across multiple projects, so having the right personality is just as important as technical ability.

We work hard, but we like our workplace to be fun and friendly too, with regular events organised by the ICT social club.

All candidates should have experience with:

• HTML / CSS

• JavaScript

• jQuery

• PHP or equivalent scripting

• Relational databases / SQL

• Linux and Azure as a development and deployment environment

• IIS, Apache, AWS

• Web Security

• Designing and deploying applications as a service in a public and private cloud.

You will be passionate about programming and eager to learn, but also able to communicate clearly, have excellent time management skills and be used to working to deadlines without constant supervision. A high level of motivation and attention to detail is required, and the ability to demonstrate ownership and initiative of assigned tasks is an essential requirement.

This permanent full time position is based at our modern premises in Albany.
