Project Manager

Platinum Recruitment are excited to present the opportunity for a Project Manager in Christchurch. Given the varied scope of project work you will need to have a solid background in delivering IT projects, preferably with a focus in business Applications.

Any individual applying for this position should have experience with enterprise system implementations and documentation (i.e. change requests, business requirements, process flows, project plans, etc).  

You will also be responsible for the coordination of project delivery and updates to senior management.  This role will require a great deal of organisation and the ability to track multiple efforts at once (at different stages within the project life cycle).

Responsibilities include:
Translates business needs into requirements.
Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
Run project meetings and be responsible for project tracking and analysis.
Provide updates to business leadership
Design, implement, and monitor the progress of initiatives, milestones, and budgets to ensure timeliness and deliverables are met.
Manage relationships with vendors, internal end users, and business customers/leadership.

To be successful you will need:
5+ years of experience as a project manager
To have led large scale business applications projects 
4+ years of  experience with preparation of business requirements documents, project plans, project budgets 
Lead project management skills
Good time management skills
Ability to work well with others
Experience working in Agile environments
Strong communication and presentation skills-both written and oral
Demonstrates strong leadership skills
