The Technology Consulting practice is an exciting and challenging environment, which enables our specialist technology consultants to offer services in the following areas to our clients:

—   IT Effectiveness – CIO Advisory services,  developing effective IT strategy IT operating model and enterprise architecture

—   Technology Business Management – financial advice and assessment of the CIO function, Providing the true cost and allocation of IT resources.

—   Project and Programme services – client-side advisory, supporting a positive project outcome. Business case, independent quality assurance technical quality assurance and project management.

—   System and Technology Sourcing and Selection – Identifying and sourcing best-fit systems, solution architecture, cloud strategy and blockchain opportunities.

—   IT Process Improvement - Developing automated IT service management, IT operations management, security operations and governance risk and compliance.

Be Interested:

• We are currently recruiting within our System and Technology Sourcing and Selection team, who provide our clients support in the entire lifecycle of technology sourcing and selection and we are keen to meet individuals with experience, gained through consulting or in industry, the following areas:
• End-to-end support of technology sourcing processes
• Documenting IT systems and processes to identify opportunities to increase efficiency
• Preparation and evaluation of Registration of Interest, Request for Proposal or other formal sourcing documentation
• Contract development and Vendor negotiation
• Technology sourcing arrangement reviews.
• Business case development and value for money models to support technology sourcing decisions

Be Exceptional:

• Typical client delivery work will include the following activities:
• Developing requirements to inform sourcing and selection exercises
• Agreeing sourcing strategies with our clients
• Assisting clients through the full supplier selection process through to procurement and contract signature

Be KPMG:

• Approximately five years of relevant technology experience
• While this is NOT a senior procurement professional role, exposure to one or more technology sourcing projects preferably in a New Zealand public sector context would prove highly relevant..
• A tertiary qualification relevant to the technology sector
• Experience of working in a professional services context in the New Zealand marketplace, preferably in the Wellington Public sector (or similar international jurisdictions) 
• Excellent written and verbal communication
