We have a Senior Full Stack Java Developer opportunity, within one of the top company's to work in Wellington. You will be working on a range of innovative customer facing solutions within the financial services sector, with a good mix of both project and support / maintenance work.

What will you do?
This is an agile environment working to two weekly sprints and releases, and as part of a cross functional team you will be a key person to provide leadership and mentoring to your team members. You will also provide leadership in a new framework direction and contribute to exciting new ways of working.
The nuts and bolts of your role will include:

Designing, coding, testing, and documenting large programs and modifications

Learning, trialing, developing and then training in a new framework

Assessing, analysing, and implementing change based on requests

Maintaining application support processes and investigating/monitoring issues

Release and deployment activities (i.e. logging results, documenting technical activity undertaken)

Working in an Agile environment utilising SCRUM
What will you have?
To be successful here you will need to enjoy working in a collaborative team environment, with good communication skills and a growth mindset. As a Senior Developer you will be valued as a key contributor to the Communities of Practice within the organisation.

Significant experience in Full stack development environments
- Familiar with all the layers of software development. Solid knowledge across Networking, Database, User Interface and API.
- Experience in continuous development release
- Experience with some of the following products used Java, JavaScript, Dockers, Jenkins, Git & Bitbucket, Selenium, Backbase, ForgeRock and Finacle
- Experience with 3rd party APIs
- Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Experience working in Agile environments
