Who are Qual IT?
Qual IT is the "Tester's Testing Business". We're owned and run by Testers, and we're New Zealand's largest testing and quality assurance consultancy. We provide independent testing, business analysis and QA services for a wide range of different organisations.
The Roles
We're looking for Senior Test Analysts to join our Christchurch permanent team. You'll work for a variety of customers on a diverse range of projects. We are methodology and tool agnostic so you will be exposed to a broad range of new opportunities. You could be working in a traditional waterfall environment, or as part of an Agile SCRUM team. Many of our people join us not only for the variety but also to develop their consulting skills. You'll be a trusted advisor, drawing on your breadth of experience to provide advice and guidance to our customers.

We're looking for candidates with the following:
- At least 5 years testing experience across a range of differing project sizes, scopes and complexities, and industries/domains.
- Good experience with defect management
- Demonstrated experience improving testing processes and/or approaches on your projects
- Ability and confidence to operate as a sole tester for pieces of work if required
- Ability to work in both Agile and more traditional development methodologies
- Experience being responsible for test planning and test reporting
- Experience mentoring/leading Test Analysts and business representatives
