We create a range of learning experiences, and your contribution primarily being around the visual presentation of both systems and user experiences. We are looking for someone with a cross section of skills and experience revolving around digital design. Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience in designing user interfaces. However, experience in designing web interfaces, interactive info graphics, and animations would be well received.  

Practical and technical knowledge we look for 

We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate some of the following criteria, or who demonstrates the potential and desire to learn in these areas: 

  • Experience creating modern user interface designs, infographics, or creating animations or motion graphics 

  • 2-3 years track record of project work or employment 

  • Experience using the Adobe Suite and Storyline (or other online authoring tools) 

  • Excellent written, visual and verbal communication skills 

  • Ability to work with clients  

  • Ability to create designs while working with existing brand and guidelines 

  • Understanding of Treaty of Waitangi principles 

  • Current NZ Driver’s license (advantage but not essential) 

  • Valid permit to live and work in NZ (essential).
