We are currently seeking a GIS Analyst to join our Information Services Team within ICT at Hawke’s Bay Regional Council. The team is dedicated to delivering excellent service to customers, both inside and outside the Hawke’s Bay Regional Council.
This is a permanent full time role for 40 hours per week. You will be working with all parts of the Council, using GIS to visualise and analyse spatial data. You will use your GIS skills to create meaningful insight. A key part of this role will be taking GIS out into the field and back. You will also be responsible for enhancing Council’s online mapping applications.
You will have proven ability to build positive relationships. A ‘can do’ attitude, attention to detail, sound organisational and excellent communication skills are favourable for success in this role.
A relevant tertiary qualification, sound knowledge and proven experience with the ESRI product suite including ArcGIS Server is essential.
