Our client has an urgent need for an experienced Full Stack Senior Java Developer to join their busy, fast paced team environment.
  
As a senior level developer you will be expected to be involved in both design and development and reviewing code. You will be working on a wide variety of projects and initiatives, working closely with people from both technical and non-technical backgrounds, so your ability to communicate well across both levels will be essential.

To be successful in the role you will possess:

• Solid understanding of good software engineering principles and practices for keeping a codebase of high maintainability
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Java programming and web development (JavaScript/HTML/CSS)
• Experience in Java/J2EE, developing and consuming REST services.
• Proficient with the Spring dependency injection framework and related technologies (e.g. Spring MVC).
• Experience working with EmberJS, AngularJS, React, or other JavaScript application frameworks
• Solid Unit Testing discipline
• Experience with design patterns
• Experience  with scrum or other Agile practices
• A rigorous and logical approach to problem solving
• Experience working with relational databases (prefebably SQL)
• Good and clear communication skills
• Good time management skills
• Experience leading and mentoring other developers and supporting a development community
• Experience working with server rendered pages e.g. JSP, ASP.net

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Working knowledge of the Git version control system
• Experience working with the Ember.js framework
• Experience working on microservice architectures
• Experience with Continuous Delivery/Continuous Integration systems (e.g. Jenkins, Circle CI Travis)
• Containerisation and DevOps knowledge (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift)
• Familiarity with UNIX dev environment (e.g. shell scripting and use over ssh terminal)
